The Harness Racing Museum is located in a small colonial village, where the
birth of the first national sport-- trotting is celebrated.
Before there was baseball or football, there was "trotting". Families and
communities embraced horses and trotting matches as important part of everyday
life. It became the first American pastime and as such was a major factor in the
development of the countries transportation, farming and art history.
