Foaled at Hanover Shoe Farms in 1942, Titan Hanover was by Calumet Chuck-Tisma Hanover. Purchased as a yearling for $3,000 by Arden Homestead Stable, he became the first two-year-old colt to trot in 2:00. He established a three-year-old record of 1:58 in 1945 and won the famed Hambletonian that same year. Unbeaten in a race as a two and three-year-old, Titan Hanover was retired to stud in 1947 and sired 216 trotters and 87 pacers. He died at Hanover Shoe Farms in 1966.
